Green Roof Long Weekend with guest tutor Dusty Gedge

SEDAbuild School are proud to announce their first ‘hands on’ ecological building course. Over three days, participants will learn the theory and practice of building a small green roof. We are delighted to welcome Dusty Gedge as our Saturday guest tutor. Dusty is a recognised authority, designer and spokesperson on green roof design and build and is the founder of Livingroofs.org and co-founder of greenrooftraining.com. Dusty runs his own consultancy firm, Green Roof Consultancy, and has over 15 years of experience working on local and international projects. He will share his passion and knowledge of green roof construction with the team and will lead a full day of building on site. Preparation, waterproofing, edge detailing, drainage, substrate, planting and maintenance will each be covered in detail and participants will be fully involved in every stage of the green roof building process. Working in partnership with LoveMilton, this intensive three day course will provide a valuable green roof for an outdoor classroom at a local primary school in Milton, Glasgow. Participants will leave will a full understanding of how to design and build their own small green roof.

Course Location | MiltonBank Primary School, Milton, Glasgow.

Cost (3 days) | £145 SEDA members, £170 Non SEDA.
